This bag is well worth the money. I had no problems at all at the airport and didn't have to pay any bag fees. I had a desk fan (I require white noise to sleep), 4 days worth of clothes and underwear, a toiletries bag, a makeup bag, and a bag for my travel liquids! The longer strap was good but it was still heavy with all my items in it. It was still comfortable to carry through the airport though. Highly recommend and will purchase for my husband! When the bag first game, I was amazed. It all fits in a small portable bag, but I haven't attempted getting it back in yet. Also, it fits one of my packing cubes. It had all my clothing, toiletries, an additional pair of shoes, and a few books for a four-day trip to Chicago. It fits wonderfully in the spirit box. Keep in mind that the straps aren't very supportive if you put a lot of heavy goods in it.
